Production: Made from ethically sourced, organic coconuts, this oil is a highly concentrated (up to 99% pure) source of medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) and is derived through a process called fractionation. This involves extracting and isolating the MCTs from the flesh of coconuts and contains a proprietary blend of caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10).
Qualities: MCT oil is a clear/yellowish liquid that is flavorless and odorless. It is paleo and vegan friendly and naturally gluten free. Originally used as nutritional therapy and supplementation by bodybuilders to decrease body fat and increase lean muscle mass, MCTs are now becoming increasingly popular with people enjoying it as a natural energy booster, hoping to stimulate their metabolism and control appetite, treating food absorption and digestion problems, or for the potential help with slowing Alzheimer's disease. 
Common Use: blend into coffees, shakes, or smoothies or add to food, salads, dressings and sauces. Not recommended in use for frying.
Safety and Dosage: we recommend that you consult your health care provider before consuming MCT oil as it may cause gastrointestinal distress, diarrhea, flatulence, and other digestive issues. Commonly people slowly increase dosage from 1 tsp to no more than 4 Tbsp daily.
Storage: No refrigeration required. Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C (86°F) and away from a source of light and heat. Like all our other oils, our MCT oil comes packaged in safe, convenient, BPA-free packaging.
